• Recognize movement and balance in both still works of art as well as moving works of art
• See objects as they relate to one another and create positive and negative shapes in space
• Work with others to create a unified mobile (sculpture) comprised of individual parts they created

• To see light and dark values in black and white photos
• How to physically mix paint to create new values
• To distinguish and create an even transition among five values

Metallic Form Sculpture

OBJECTIVES Students learn to:
• Understand the difference between 2-Dimensional shape and 3-Dimensional form
• Recognize and name the basic forms: Cube, cylinder, cone and sphere
• Work in a group to create a unique way that the forms can be combined into a sculpture
